This last week as a marathon of meetings. Last September SIM international organized a review team to look not only at what we were doing, but also at what we could be doing. Though we got

an initial report at the end of the review, the final document only came out at the end of January. To really discuss the issues brought out in the review, we needed to call all our SIM Mozambique team together. So over last weekend, they began to arrive. Some flew in, but most drove, some taking up to 10 hours on the road. We are in the midst of the rainy season, so the roads were challenging at times.



Our time together each of the three days was begun with singing and a devotional. A really good way to start the day. We then divided into three groups to discuss the recommendations that the review committee had proposed. At the end of each day, we returned together to discuss what was said. The time is one of the best times we have had as a team for as long as I can remember. There was good fellowship, good food and good discussions.
